To prepare this recipe, I utilized my favorite 12" Green Pan Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan. Sliced mushrooms were added and cooked over medium-high heat until they released their liquid, which then evaporated, and the mushrooms were cooked to a light brown. While the mushrooms were cooking, I drained olives in a colander in the sink.

Next, I combined Mozzarella and Italian Blend Cheese in a bowl, sprinkled them with 1 tsp of Italian Herb Blend, and stirred the cheese mixture with a fork to evenly distribute the dried herbs. This cheese mixture was placed in a pie dish. In a separate bowl, I beat eggs with a fork, mixed in heavy cream, half and half, or milk, and added garlic powder. The egg mixture was then combined with the cheese in the pie dish and stirred well.

I layered the browned mushrooms on top of the cheese and egg mixture and added sliced olives if desired. Over the mushrooms and olives, I arranged pepperoni slices in an overlapping layer and sprinkled them with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of Italian Herb Blend. The quiche was then baked for 30-35 minutes until the eggs were set and the pepperoni started to brown.

After baking, I allowed the quiche to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving. This dish can be stored in the refrigerator for several days and reheated in the microwave or on the stove.
